Summer vacations are starting to get booked, wardrobe staples are being coveted and I think all of us are ready for some much needed getaways in the sunshine. This Vogue “Summer Getaway” article instantly got me thinking about what my summer essentials would be. The items that immediately pop into my head are my K. Jacques patent nude sandals, Vanessa Bruno tote, Eres bikini and of course OPI bright nail polish . . . I’m sure there are many more essentials.

Definitely bikinis and sundresses. I always pack some in my carry-on. No matter what happens to my other luggage, I know I will be pretty much set with these : )

For me its always a button down oxford, cutoffs, a hat and boat shoes. I wish we had another 3-day weekend this week!

I always keep a journal and camera with me, to chronicle my day and capture all the memories that make vacations so wonderful.
And Revolution tea bags! I can never have enough tea. They're so delicious and soothing.

I always pack a pashmina for the plane or if I find myself anywhere that is unexpectedly cold-sundresses, flat gold sandals, wedges, camera, magazines, and a good book!
I always pack a scarf, a bikini (even in winter–hello hot tub!), a good read a fun read, my camera, sunscreen and spf lip balm.
