East Coast Bound!

I’ve been waiting for this day to come for months – a girls trip to NYC is exactly what I need, and it’s finally here. Tonight I’ll be heading to New York on a red-eye and arriving bright and early to meet Erin,Camille, and Lisa for our action packed weekend. We’ll be partaking on many adventures – shopping, going to museums, eating delicious food, meeting up with friends and enjoying some quality time with one another. Also, I can’t wait to meet up with my NYC contributor Lauren – we’ll be waking up early for the Brooklyn flea market!

I’m oh so excited and I’ll be blogging from the East Coast thru Wednesday.

I’m Loving . . .

The packing has began for New York, and as I rummage through my closet to find clothes appropriate for the steamy weather out east, these outfits are my source of inspiration.


When it comes to humidity my hair doesn’t cooperate – it will start to frizz, get big and then look weird. Both of these hairstyles will be my go-tos this weekend. Having it pulled back, but in a chic way, is the best way to keep it under control.

After this long work week of getting everything squared away before heading on vacation, I’m wishing we had a bathtub so I could come home at night and relax in a warm tub. Someday…but for now I’ll keep dreaming.

These two tumblr sites have my mind all aflutter with inspiration – brought to you by the ever so lovely Miss Moss. One for fashion and the other for interiors. What more could a girl ask for? If you’re looking for inspiration or in the mood to pin away – click fast because she’s outdone herself!

I’ve been obsessing over this Clare Vivier messager bag – it’s simple, chic and down right perfection. It’s on the top of my wish list for fall. The only problem is . . . what color to get? Cognac? Navy? Black? or Gray?

NYC Blogger Soirée!

Yes, you read it right – we’ve planned a girls trip and we can’t wait to meet all of you. Erin, Camille, Lisa and I are ready to hit the streets of New York for some shopping, good food, meetings and get togethers with new and old friends. We thought that a cocktail party would be a great way to meet all of you while we’re in town. Come join us Sunday, July 31 and be sure to RSVP, because we’d love to accommodate everyone.

sinks: which one do you adore?

Sometimes when we look at rooms we miss seeing the details, like the sink. There’s so much to think about from the material to the mounting to the faucet. It’s hard to even fathom how some people make decisions. So I ask you, what do you look for in a sink? I’m leaning towards number one and five, but it’s hard to choose. Chime in cause I’d love to know what you adore!

This is a DREAM site for anyone that loves a monochromatic look. As all of you know, I love white, and when I first discovered Poppin my heart raced a million miles a minute and then exploded with happiness. They’ve got every color imaginable – head on over because it’s absolutely heaven!
