Friends, it has been a wild few months for me with the blog and Pinterest and as we drove to the airport last night I refreshed my Pinterest homepage to see that I passed 2 million followers. When I started pinning way back when, it was the initial test group. I never, in my wildest dreams thought that I would have over 20 thousand followers – well was I wrong! The community that I’ve built on Pinterest has been amazing – they are supportive, and inspiring. Watching it grow fascinates me to no end. As I made my way to Black Butte, Oregon I sat in my seat on the plane with the latest issue of Fast Company. Ben was on the cover. Reading the effects that Pinterest has had on the online community is jaw-dropping and I am proud to say that I’m part of the growing community.
But friends, Pinterest wouldn’t be the same without you – the likes, the positive comments, and most of all, the inspiration that you have brought me through your pins. I wanted to send a special thank you to all of you for following me. Let’s keep on pinning and inspiring each other!
