a brand new week . . .

First and foremost, happy three day week for those of you who are celebrating Thanksgiving – I can’t wait for the festivities to begin. Friends, I know we keep things light here on Sacramento Street but sometimes I have to just let it out. This weekend and the latter part of last week were rough – my mom was in the emergency room twice for health issues. She’s doing way better today (thank god) but it was a bit of a scare there for the past four days. I’m so thankful for the support I have around me – my loving husband, family and friends. I’m also incredibly thankful that my mom is doing better. When someone you love and adore gets ill it puts everything into perspective. It’s important to cherish every single moment you have with the people that you love – so give them a hug, tell them you love them and enjoy everyone around your Thanksgiving table this Thursday.

A few things giving me inspiration this week – the every so lovely Heather Clawson’s book Creativity at Work, a DIY necklace I made at the Brika event (which launches tomorrow!!) and acorn branches.

I hope all of you have a lovely short work week ahead.
