on the menu: grilled fig, hazelnut and ricotta crostinis

With the holidays creeping up way too fast I’ve been searching for simple and easy hors d’oeuvres for parties (whether I’m attending or hosting). Whenever I see figs at the grocery store I have to pick up a basket – they are delicious. When I stumbled across this recipe on Spoon Fork Bacon, I couldn’t believe that I hadn’t thought of this combination before. These will definitely be making an appearance next week.

Do you have any go-to hors d’oeuvres you swear by?

Grilled Fig, Hazelnut and Ricotta Crostinis

Anything fig catches my eye and these looks so good. I really like making gourgeres or cheese puffs with gruyere cheese when having a party. If feeling less ambitious a cheese and antipasti plate are staples.
