As 2012 comes to a close, I look back and cannot believe how much was accomplished. From installing beautiful projects I’m very proud about, to styling photo shoots, to redesigning Sacramento Street and then ending the year by taking a huge leap and going out on my own. It’s been quiet a remarkable year. Thank you all for coming here to get inspired and the support you’ve given me this past year. Sacramento Street wouldn’t be the same without you.
Get ready for 2013 here on Sacramento Street. There will be new columns, tons of inspiration and maybe a few new contributors. Later this week I’ll be sharing a few of my many goals for 2013 and I’d love for you to share your goals as well. Do you have any goals or resolutions written down yet?
I hope all of you have a wonderful start to the New Year!

Head to toe my style – I could wear this ensemble everyday.
Floor to ceiling glass windows reminds me of Camille’s beautiful home.
I’ve been staying cozy in sweats and big sweaters.
I’ll be making these cookies before one of my new years resolutions kicks in.
Mastering the art of simplicity is one of my BIG 2013 goals.
We have one more holiday upon us – New Year’s Eve. This year our friends are hosting a dinner party with a few couples. So I’ll be keeping my outfit a little more casual but let’s be honest I’ve got to wear a little sparkle on New Year’s. This is what I’m thinking of wearing . . .
1. Diane von Furstenberg sequined wool cardigan
2. Bottega Veneta sterling silver glass stone earrings
3. Kotur breen matte and glossed-snakeskin box clutch
4. Nicholas Joclyn high heel sandals
Christmas eve is by far my favorite day of the year – the excitement, anticipation, being surrounded by family and of course the holiday cheer. It’s such a joyous time. This year we’re hosting for the first time, which means mixing old traditions to make our very own. This year we decided to keep it simple and enjoy what matters most – appreciating the loved ones that are in our lives.
I hope all of you take some time to relax, rest and enjoy a wonderful holiday with friends, family and loved ones!
Wishing you the happiest of holidays – I hope it’s magical!

I love the simple elements on this wall that get me in the holiday spirit.
Grey on grey ensembles.
Homemade tomato soup on cold rainy days.
Winter place cards inspiration.
I’m coveting this Celine cross-body handbag that can also be used as a clutch!
And lastly, Paris at Christmas time with a blanket of snow makes me think about a year I spent Christmas there with my mom and Eric – it was magical and filled with so many memories.
