on the menu: zesty rich hummus

Zesty Rich Hummus

Ingredients:
1 can Organic Chickpeas, rinsed and drained
Juice of 1/2 a Lemon
2 small Garlic Cloves
2 Tbsp Tahini
1/2 an Avocado
1/2 cup Water
2 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Turmeric
Sea salt to taste
Pinch of Paprika

 

Directions:
In a blender, bring all ingredients together and blend into a rich and smooth consistency, occasionally scraping down sides. Add more water to achieve desired consistency, if necessary. Transfer to a bowl and sprinkle over some paprika. Serve with pita, fresh cut veggies or bread.

    I’ve never made succesful hummus…I’m always looking for a new recipe to see if I can finally pin it down good! I’ll try this one out!
