Living With Great Style

a brand new week . . .

A new week is upon us – new endeavors to pursue and new challenges to tackle. I’m ready to take them all on! This weekend was all about planning details for my LA trip next week – my mom and I are going on a road trip to Santa Barbara and LA. I can’t wait to spend my days photographing inspiring creative’s for our “Workspace” series, eat at some of my favorite restaurants and take in some sunshine. If you have any shop, restaurant or museum recommendations please let me know!

A few things inspiring me this week – Richard Avedon’s “Woman in the Mirror” book that I’m constantly looking at for inspiration, a vase from Heath that I keep by my bedside, a new spring Estée Lauder Coral Cult nail polish color that makes me long for spring, and succulents that sit around my apartment.

I hope all of you have a fabulous week ahead!

That’s such a sweet nail polish color! I love how you look at the week, Mondays really aren’t that bad!!

In SB, definitely spend time at Rooms and Gardens on State. For food, the Hungry Cat, and Lucky’s in Montecito for a good drink at the bar. And definitely hit Summerland shops too.

    Hi Caitlin!
Not a surprise that I’d want to weigh in on the subject of Santa Barbara…So many places to go!

On State Street, you should check out Raoul Textiles (see this link: http://sbdigs.com/raoul-opens-showroom-in-santa-barbara/) also, Rooms and Gardens for John Robshaw linens and more, also on State Street.

In Montecito, great breakfast at Jeannine’s, beautiful everything at Maison K, and great jewelry and unique tabletop treasures at Lily (all on Coast Village Rd), and several clothing shops you should probably avoid, knowing you will love them tooooo much.

Great italian food at Pane e Vino, 1482 East Valley Road in the back area of Montecito (one of Jon’s faves)…
If you go to Summerland, (just a bit south of Montecito), go to Botanik…beautiful plants, dishes, baskets, etc in an old house, set up so that you want to move in!

Oh how I miss Santa Barbara!!!
    xoxo, Aunt Pat
