The weather in San Francisco has been incredible and it seems to be warming up even more. I love enjoying these summer-like days in the spring. Since we’ve been having fabulous weather both Susan of Peas and Love and I thought we’d share a refreshingly cool salad to enjoy an on warm day or night. It’s also the perfect salad to bring to the many outdoor dinner parties you might be hosting or attending. Enjoying this cool treat!
Cool as a Cucumber Spring Salad
1 Cucumber, chopped
6 Red Radishes, quartered
1 Tbsp Chopped Parsley
1 Tbsp Chopped Cilantro
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
Dash of Chili Powder
Juice of 1/2 a Lime
To make this quick and easy salad, bring all ingredients together in a bowl and toss well. Serve, enjoy, and be cool (as a cucumber)!

Getting a little bit of a late start this week – after working all weekend on a fabulous lookbook shoot in Carmel, I had to hit the ground running this morning working on a client deadline. It’s already been a hectic week and it’s only Monday. This week we’re starting to fix up our new apartment – painting starts tomorrow (I’m thrilled with the Benjamin Moore paint we picked out), light fixtures are arriving and we’re slowly but surely packing up the studio. I can’t believe we’re leaving our first home.
A few things I’m loving from last week – a tortoise shell I picked up in High Point, my new favorite Freda shoes that I can’t stop wearing, the luggage tag that went with me on my travels this past month, and lastly, two magazines I thoroughly enjoyed.
This week I’ll be sharing a delicious salad, my highlights from High Point, a new Room Anatomy and more!

The weekend is here – my week in High Point and Charleston was amazing. I was completely smitten by Charleston – the architecture, food (holy moly) and the southern hospitality. Don’t worry, I’ll be sharing my favorites from the trip. It feels so good to have had a day at home to refresh and organize myself before taking another trip. I’m off to Carmel this weekend to shoot a lookbook with Jessica (I adore working with her). We’ll be directing a shoot along the coast and I can’t wait to see the shots we come up with this weekend.
Before we bid farewell, I’m thrilled to announce the winner of the Poppy Barely giveaway! This was an exciting one and I’m pleased to announce that Hillary Wright has won. Her board completely inspired both the Poppy Barely team and myself – we felt as though she created a wonderful, perfect Saturday. Congrats!
I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend. See you back here Monday!

My Otte NY pinterest board – I’ve been guest pinning for them, which has been a blast. Follow my pins until next Wednesday.
All of the detail of this stunning fireplace. Wishing I had one in my new apartment.
What are you loving this week?
It’s sandal season and with May right around the corner (boy did April zip by), I’m thrilled that I’ll get to bring out my collection of open toed shoes. Although, as I look at mine they look a little down in the dumps. That’s why I went on a quest to find chic, simple and affordable sandals that I’m hoping to get this season. If you have any favorites please share!
