Living With Great Style

Room Anatomy

In a fantasy world, this week’s Room Anatomy would be my future dining room. Designed by Thomas Hamel & Associates, an Australia based design firm, this space mixes textural elements with a sleek line klismos dining chair to create a casual, soft-modern dining space. Klismos chairs are a Greek designed ancient form that has popped up in design throughout history. The chair’s elegant form has become the perfect accent for a timeless modern touch.  Bring texture to your dining space at home with dimensional art and rattan place mats. To add a bit of color to your table, feature olive green serving bowls and glassware.

The frette work is pretty stunning! These are sliding doors designed to separate the Kitchen from the Dining Room in the space. Perfectly detailed.

The chandelier is from Circa Lighting. It is the “Ziyi Large Chandelier”. Great modern light!
