Going Home for the Holidays

Campbells Homestyle | Sacramento Street

It’s that time of year where all of us are booking our tickets and planning our trips back home for the holidays. This is my favorite time of year – everyone is merry, has a glow about them that is nostalgic and I certainly can’t get enough Christmas music. This year we’ll be staying close to home traveling to Carmel to visit family – but no matter where you are it will always feel like home because of the people that surround you.  One of my favorite parts about being home for the holidays, besides spending quality time with family and devouring the delicious food, is taking time off to enjoy those little moments in life. I make myself completely unplug so I can enjoy my stack of magazines that I haven’t been able to go through in months. It’s amazing how something so simple can rejuvenate your soul and doing all of this with a delicious cup of hot cocoa by the Christmas tree makes it that much sweeter.

What are you looking forward to when you go home for the holidays? Will you be watching a movie marathon that includes The Holiday and Love Actually? Cooking soup with your grandma in the kitchen? Or getting cozy by the fire? I want to hear what you can’t wait to do during the holidays!

Now for the fun part – Campbell’s Homestyle wants to take you home for the holidays. Pin a photo that makes you nostalgic about home and you’ll be entered to win one of fifteen $500 airline gift cards to help you get home. Watch this video to get you inspired and excited to go home this holiday season and be sure to visit CampbellsHomestyle.com from now until 12/16 for a chance to win.
