The moment I opened up Life & Work by Malene Birger I was in awe. Her beautifully curated spaces have so many treasures. Every time I open up her book for inspiration I find something new that catches my eye.

In my eye, this outfit is flawless. If I could wear something like this everyday I would.

Lovely Things | weekday carnival

When I come across little vignettes, like these, it gets me in the mood to do a little re-decorating. The simplicity of this is perfection.

These might need to be made this weekend – Belgian Chocolate Waffles. My mouth is already watering.

The Arches Agra, India

I’m in total wanderlust at the moment. Before I leave for a big trip I start thinking about the next adventure – crazy I know! I have my heart set on India. Have any of you travelled there recently? I’m curious whether to go to the South or North. Would love any tips you have!

What are you loving this week?

  1. Julie

Beautiful post – I love the chandelier in the bedroom photo. India sounds incredible!

  2. Avanti

India is wonderful! North and South are very different. The North has a lot of natural and architectural wonders whereas in the South it is mainly the nature. Both parts of India are very different but if you go to the North, Rajasthan is a must see and if you go to the South you should explore the backwaters of Kerela. Hope that was helpful!
Love the outfit inspiration. Would definitely wear that everyday!

Adding to Avanti’s comment consider the time also, North India can be very hot in months of May and June. I am from India, feel free to ask any questions if you have.

Recently moved from Bay area to Paris – last July. I’ve been reading your blog for a few years now – LOVE 🙂 Regarding your Paris trip…

Would be happy to show you around one day or recommend some shopping areas?! As I am a ‘closet’ decorator at heart (pilates instructor | owner previously – citrus pilates in Willow Glen), so I have found a few cool places in my wanderings here.

Who is coming with you, when will you be here & have you been before? Do you need other ideas… eating, gardens & museums to visit, etc. ??

I normally never go public with my blog visits, but I just wanted to let you know that your blog is a constant inspiration. I’ve never come upon a style blog that features styles so close to my own, and I must say it’s rather refreshing. Never over the top, a perfect combination of elegance and down-to-earth looks for the home and body. I recently made the big move from NYC to SF and I have to confess that prior to my move, frequent visits to your blog were a huge life-saver for my SF-turned style! I just cant wait to use your decor inspirations once I get my own apt!
