There are some things that never get old for me. One of those is having collections of black and white photography in your home. This look is timeless and a great way to fill a hallway, living room wall, or even to give a bathroom more interest. I need to take the time to go through my photographs to get them printed up. A great way to remember a trip is to have a few special photos printed and framed. By keeping them black & white, they remain cohesive with your other décor.
Another thing that never gets old for me are open shelves in a kitchen. When we collect beautiful dishes, why put them away in a cabinet where no one can see them? I also like a less formal kitchen and too many cabinets can be a bit sterile. All of the upper areas of my kitchen are with open shelves and I love it.
I’m looking for my next trip to find inspiration. Have you been anywhere lately that I could make my next voyage? I’m always open to new places on the horizon. Right now, Iceland is at the top of my list!
Apologies for the lack of posting this week – between client meetings, installs and a sick little it’s been a busy week. I hope this brings you a burst of inspiration and I’ve got a lot in store for you next week. Have a lovely weekend everyone!
