After an amazing long weekend spending time with family, enjoying San Francisco’s bright blue skies, moving my mom into her condo and having delicious meals filled with lots of laughter, I’m ready for the week ahead. I’ve been giddy about Alt Summit rapidly approaching – I cannot believe I’ll be boarding a plane on Wednesday for Salt Lake. It’s going to be fun seeing old friends and meeting new people. I have a feeling this week is going to be incredibly inspiring!


Hope all of you had a lovely weekend. Cheers to a fun filled week ahead.

outdoor living: which one do you adore?

With the sun and bright blue skies still gracing us with its presence, all I can think about is having a deck or outdoor patio. I imagine eating al fresco as the sun sets over the bay . . . maybe we’ll get lucky and have one in our next home. When you I don’t have something in my home, I always dream up what I would do if I did have it. All of the above images have little bits that are dream-worthy.

What would you look for in an outdoor patio or deck? Would you use it to lounge around or to host a little dinner party? Ahhhhh . . . the possibilities and have a little oasis to call you own.

a return to my favorites

What a busy week, I’ve been running around working 24/7, but when you love what you do working around the clock doesn’t seem to matter. I’ve posted this office multiple times, I find it an incredibly inspiring place to work day in and day out – don’t you? Someday, I hope to have a office this beautiful!

With that said, I’ve been turning to my trusty skinny jeans, camel tote and adding a touch of spring with open toed heels and a light weight top. The perfect combination for my hectic schedule. Do you have a go-to outfit that you gravitate to when you’re on the run?

At least tomorrow is Friday . . . hip hip hooray!

art wall: which one do you adore?

I’ve got a entire wall above my bar cabinet in my dining room that needs some serious help. I’ve been contemplating what to do with the blank wall and I’ve finally come to the conclusion that an art wall is the way to go. I have begun my quest to find beautiful art and treasure to fill this space.


As I started browsing for inspiration, I found that Domino Magazine has some beautiful versions that I was attracted to – in different ways of course. Out of the five art walls above I think the first is my favorite. If you have a favorite art wall, please leave a link in the comments.

10 Things that Make Me Happy was the first thing I turned to when I got Domino in the mail, so I figured; why not bring it back here? When I first started thinking about what type of guest post I’d want to feature on Sacramento Street, I tried to imagine who I’d want to have as my very first guest and who better than Crystal, author of Plush Palate. I’m truly honored to have her on my blog today. Her stylish and sophisticated blog is my first stop during my morning reading routine.

I couldn’t be happier to have one of my first friends in the blogosphere guest post for me today. We found out early on that we had a lot in common. Crystal not only manages her inspirational blog, but also works in the publishing world, does freelance writing and is working on a top-secret business plan, which is very exciting! Wouldn’t we all like to know more? She promises we’ll all find out soon.

When I got Crystal’s 10 Things that Make Me Happy list I fell in love with everything and I think you will too.
