There is nothing I love more than meeting up with girlfriends for a mid-week lunch date. It’s a time to check in with each other, chat about life and check out from our hectic work days to enjoy some quality time with each other. This isn’t a weekly occurrence, but when they are planned it seems to make my weeks go by quickly. Don’t we all need a little of that sometimes? With one planned this week in my schedule, I’m eager to tackle my to-do list.
Fall is here! If you’re like me you are ready to bring out your fall wardrobe. I’ve slowly been taking stock of what I have from last year, what needs to be replaced, and what’s on my wish list. One online shop I can’t get enough of – Otte NY. Their selection has me swooning over everything – from scarves, to handbags, to hats – it’s deadly. While I have most of my fall basics this year I’m updating my closet with accessories. These are a few of my must-haves. Do you have any accessories you’ve been lusting over for this brand new season?
Let’s be honest, when fall comes around what item do you first think about purchasing? I personally think about what jacket I’ll be investing in for fall. It’s usually the one piece of clothing that I end up wearing day in and day out – so it has to be just right. As I began my search last week for that “perfect” jacket I came across quite a handful that I fell in love with . . . which is a problem. So I need your guidance, which jacket do you adore the most? Aren’t all of them great options. Help a girl out!
Lately I’ve found myself constantly on the go – running here and there without much of a break in my day. Luckily I’ve been able to come up with the perfect outfit that can take me from one climate to the next. Yes, traveling from foggy San Francisco, to sunny and warm Palo Alto or Napa makes for quite a challenge when getting dressed. That’s why it’s essential to wear layers.
Since we’re gearing up for fall, this would be a great outfit for any city. I can’t wait for the leaves to start turning!
In keeping with our “gearing up for fall” theme – I wanted to share a handful of scarves I’ve been eyeing. While it isn’t quite cool enough during the day (unless the fog decides to say hello), our nights have been a bit breezy. Last night in particular when we went for a walk, I noticed a slight chill to the air. I couldn’t believe it until I looked at my watch and realized the sun was setting before 8pm. It’s sad to see long summer nights go. I hope a few of these scarf options inspire you for the cool nights that are ahead.
