Something I hope to have in our home one day is a piano – I’m working on a home right now that has one and it has me craving one so badly.
Camel and black are my go to colors this winter – I love the combination together. It’s just so classic!
I’ve found so many hidden gems (like this) in London while I was there this fall – obviously this means I need to go back for a visit!
To be completely honest, I do my hair every day, but I always find myself putting it up an hour later. It’s probably because I’m running around all day. That’s why this chic bun might be my new look.
I love the combination of this Moroccan rug and Womb chair. The two together are perfect.
Only a month until I leave for Istanbul and Paris! I’ve been counting down the days and can’t wait to get inspired by both cities. If you have any suggestions for either I would love to hear them.
What are you loving this week?
Nurseries are such a treat to design – I absolutely love doing them. More and more clients are coming to me inquiring about them. This one in particular is a favorite that Animal Print Shop posted with their prints. You might be seeing a few posts nursery related here on the blog!
Friends, I’m in a navy phase – love mixing it with black, grey and carmel. Maybe it’s me wanting to add a bit of color into my wardrobe. This outfit is classic – I love it!
We went to Tomales Bay over the holidays and friends made a chowder while we were there – it’s was amazing! Ever since that day I’ve been in the mood to make something with clams and this recipe might just be it.
I’ve probably pinned this office space five or six times. The combination of bricks, white furniture and shelving is splendid.
Can we talk about how cute this birth announcement is? It’s so creative. I had to share it!
I’m working on designing Alicia’s loft right now. This rug is similar to her rug but what I love most about this living room is the framed quote that’s leaning against the wall. I love the casual placing of the frame. It reminded me not everything needs to be hung.
I’ve worked on some beautiful projects this year, but these two still have a special place in my heart. I can’t wait for the projects that are ahead in 2014!
We shared some delicious recipes this year – most are staples in our house each week. This detox breakfast is one of my favorites that I have several times a week. I’ll be making it even more in the New Year.
We launched a new series this fall called, Layer It that has had a wonderful response from all of you. What would you like to see featured in the new year? We have a list we’ve been working on, but I know you must have some outfit you want to make sure we cover.
It’s been a year filled with designing stunning tabletops for a few campaigns. My favorite of 2013 was in collaboration with Kate Spade.
Starting my “Getaway” series was a way for me to bring all of you a glimpse into the places I’ve been able to travel. It was an unbelievable year and I have even more in store for you in 2014!
And lastly, one of my all time favorite features is getting a look inside fellow creatives workspaces. I’m constantly inspired by where people work – you never know what you’ll find or what will spark inspiration for yourself in your line of work. This series is continuing next year with unbelievable creatives that I can’t wait to share – check back next week for an amazing space!
It’s been such a treat looking back at everything that has been featured this past year. I can’t wait for 2014!
I’ve been on a navy and black kick with my outfits this winter – and this makes me love it even more.
I’m attempting to clean out my workspace before 2014 gets here – I hope it looks something like this in the end.
Every single thing in this instagram that Sara Kate Studios posted is perfection – if you don’t follow her I highly recommend it. You’ll be inspired by every post.
This weekend I’m finally going to get into the kitchen to bake some holiday cookies. I love the idea of using old glasses to make patterns. Genius!
This weekend I might spend an entire day in my pajamas – it sounds like a luxury and something I need. Don’t you just feel like you need to do it sometimes?
This grey faux fur vest is stunning. I’ve been keeping warm in mine.
In my eyes, this dining room is perfection. The mix of industrial and modern is divine.
I’m going to attempt to make these homemade gingerbread caramel candies as holiday gifts. Wish me luck!
This holiday season I’ve been all about using tons of candlesticks on our table or around the house. These in particular are stunning!
Loving the way she pulled together this outfit. The combination of cozy grey sweater dressed up with the black skirt and heels is something I might try and pull off this season.
Wishing I renovate my apartment kitchen to look like this. I love how open it is, the mirror above the sick and the white subway tile.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Moda Operandi on curating a holiday gift guide on Pinterest. I have a feeling you’ll find gifts for your loved ones and yourself on it. They have amazing pieces! Pop on over to check it out.
