Living With Great Style

press: apartment therapy

A few months ago Apartment Therapy approached me about featuring our tiny abode as a house tour – I was incredibly flattered. Well friends, yesterday it graced the pages of Apartment Therapy and I’m delighted to say it got a positive response (something I was nervous about). The ever so lovely Leela Cyd Ross took the stunning photos and I thought I’d share a few outtakes here.

A few items have changed in our apartment – new coffee table and light on my desk from HD Buttercup SF (which is becoming my new go-to shop), got a new pillow for the chair in the window from West Elm (it’s SO soft) and I’ve re-arranged our West Elm bookcase.

I’d like to give a big shout out to my favorite shops to source items for my apartment – HD Buttercup SFWest ElmSummer House in Mill Valley, GrenouilleDesigner Fluff, and Erica Tanov Marin.

Be sure to head over to the feature for the entire home tour.

Thanks again for all of the amazing support friends! This blog wouldn’t be the same without you. I’ve got to say, you keep me motivated to keep inspiring you daily.

a feature + winner!

This week, like every other week, has me in a flurry. So much so that I haven’t had a chance to tell all of you about being featured in the current issue of ‘we like we love.’

When Alyssa came to me a few months ago about being part of this issue, I was incredibly flatter and honored. I’ve been a huge fan of ‘we like we love.’ since the launch. Be sure to click here to read about my five like & loves. Also, it’s available in print (woohoo!) and would make for the perfect stocking stuffer.

Thank you so much Alyssa for creating such a beautiful feature – it surpassed my wildest dreams.

And now for the winner of the Lo & Sons giveaway . . . . CONGRATS to Caitlin Dentino! I’ll be emailing you shortly with details.

sneak peek: glitter guide shoot

This past Sunday the Flemming household was taken over by the amazingly talented Glitter Guide team, Taylor and Alicia. Let me tell you, there was never a dull moment – from the constant humming and dancing of Alicia, to the wardrobe changes, to the wind blowing my hat off my head (got to love SF’s gusts of wind). Let’s just say we had a blast and I’m excited to share just a few sneak peek photos that Alicia took throughout the day. You’ll have to wait to see the rest once Glitter Guide launches mid-June. Enjoy!

What a great way to end a wonderful week. I’m so tickled to have been featured on Elle Decor’s websiteone of my all time favorite magazines. Since it’s a magazine that I’ve been reading since I can remember, it means even more to be part of their “Design Insiders’ Weekly Finds.”

If you’ve never been to Jessica’s utterly inspiring blog, Destined to Design – go now! When I need a burst of inspiration it’s the first place I go. Plus, she’s the sweetest lady out there in the blogsphere.
