Whenever I travel I realize how much a crossbody handbag is necessary. We have a few trips in the next month and it’s going to be essential with a little one in tow. That being said, I’ve been eyeing a few new options this season that could come in handy. Who doesn’t love a new handbag anyway? Do you have a favorite crossbody bag you can’t live without?
Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about my everyday look. What do I feel comfortable in? What do I wear the most in my closet? And, is there something I couldn’t live without? I can honestly say that my black jeans with a chambray button-up is by far one of those everyday outfits I will never tire of wearing.
Before, during and after pregnancy, this has been one of the staple looks that has been a tried and true one for me. If I ever can’t decide what to wear I just throw this on and automatically feel like I can run out the door and feel put together. Do you have an everyday look you love? I’d love to know because I’m always in need of another staple look to put into my regular rotation.
LatelyI’ve mastered the casual wear. While it may seem simple, I’ve been trying to jazz it up a bit by pairing a leather jacket with what otherwise might be considered a lazy day ensemble. I’m all about comfort!
WhileI usually throw on a pair of leggings before leaving the house, I realized that if I paired together the right pieces I could continue to wear my comfy drawstring pants for walks around our neighborhood, play dates and trips to the grocery store. This is the look that has been on regular rotation the past few weeks. I’m loving it. Don’t you love finding a new look within your own wardrobe?
When you are constantly on the go, running errands, traveling or taking your little ones to school, it is quite hard to do that in high heels and a pencil skirt (those that can, I give you major kudos). On the other hand, you don’t want to look like you’ve just rolled out of bed. I’ve realized over the past two months that having a few go-to outfits that make me feel likeI’ve pulled myself together goes a long way. It makes me feel like I’ve accomplished something by getting out of my pajamas. An effortless look that is casual and sophisticated will make any women feel amazing.
As I slowly begin to get back into working and meeting with clients, I’ve been assessing my wardrobe. There is nothing like being pregnant and not purchasing much for the past nine months except for accessories. Let’s just say, my closet needs a bit of an update!
While I mostly dress pretty casual during the week, there is something about getting back into work that has me wanting to dress up a little bit more than normal. That’s why I’ve put together a little inspiration for me to play off of this week when I get ready. I’m busting out my blazers and high heels – let’s hope I don’t fall flat on my face . . . it’s been awhile since I’ve worn a pair of heels. Do you have any favorites when it comes to work wear?
