Living With Great Style

Four Favorites: Sweaters

Four Favorites : Sweaters | Sacramento Street

Here in San Francisco it’s almost always sweater weather. I either have one on or in my bag in case the fog rolls in. Let’s just say my collection of sweaters doesn’t go unused since we wear them year round. I’ve been on the hunt for a few new ones to add to my closet and these are the front runners – all of them timeless that won’t go out of style.

Do you have any favorite sweaters that you love or that are on your wish list?

Layer It: Grey On Grey

Layer It : Grey on Grey | Sacramento Street

There is no denying that I’m in quite obsessed with anything grey – sweaters, pants, handbags, and even jewelry. Usually I mix and match my grey pieces with black or white, but lately I’ve been going grey on grey. At first I was a little wary of the whole thing, but after gathering some inspiration over on Pinterest I decided to give it a go. I haven’t looked back since!

Layer It: Coffee Date

Layer It : Coffee Date

Spending time with my little man is amazing – the past week we’ve been venturing out, which has been good for the both of us. When walking the city I’ve come across some new coffee shops that I love. It’s incredible what you discover when you walk instead of driving around. I”m cherishing our coffee dates we’ve been having together.

Layer It: Get it Done

Layer It : Get It Done

A new year means new goals, new ambitions and a feeling inside you that makes you want to hustle through your weekly to-do list. Mondays oftentimes feel a little bittersweet. Lately I’ve been inspired to work on a few projects for later this year. While I’m technically on maternity leave for projects, I have to say, taking a little time off definitely gets my head swirling with ideas. Does that ever happen to you? Sometimes taking a step away brings on even more creativity.

Lately, I’ve been sporting more of a relaxed look around town. I’m all about comfort and outfits that can be thrown on without a lot of fuss. Let’s be honest, with a newborn you only really have about two minutes (if that) to get ready each day. Do you have a go-to outfit for when you are on the go to get things done?

There is nothing I love more then getting outside and enjoying a beautiful walk or hike. Recently we’ve been doing this quite a bit with our little guy. It’s a time for all of us to get out of the house to enjoy some fresh air.

With these hikes around the city I’ve been sticking to one uniform – jeans, my comfy New Balance sneakers, and a cozy sweater and vest. I’ve realized that as a new mom, having a few go-to outfits to throw on is key. Do you have some favorites you wear when going on a hike?
