I’m Back!

It’s been an incredible year working on a project very near and dear to my heart. If you’ve been following along on Instagram you might know about how my mom and I have been working tirelessly on writing and photographing our book called Travel Home, which will be released in September. We will be sharing a lot more in the coming months.

Since I took on this book project I realized that I would have to put a pause on something in my life. It was incredibly hard for me to not write as much on Sacramento Street – with my design business growing, the book and two kids it wasn’t in the cards to also keep up with the site as much. I beat myself up about it for a long time and then realized that I could pick back up where I left off once the book was completed and submitted. That time is now!

I can’t wait to get back to writing and producing content here again. It might change a little by becoming more of personal journal of sorts where I share more regularly about things I discover and find in a more organic way. I’m constantly finding new inspiration whether it has to do with interiors, lifestyle, beauty, fashion or travel.

To kick things off I’ve pulled together what’s been inspiring me this month. February is such an odd month – I begin craving spring but we are still in the dead of winter with rain showers almost every day. One thing I’ve been loving with these rain storms is that they aren’t constant, we get a peak of sunshine that creates these stunning rainbows, which has me hopefully that spring is near. In the meantime, I’m all about refreshing our home to make it feel light and airy until the warmer months come.

Thank you to each and everyone of you for understanding this pause that I took. I’m back and I excited to share some fun things with you!

Is that sweater from Frances Austen? If so, it’s my winter uniform this year too – the most gorgeous cashmere and run by an SF entrepreneur.
