Plutt Kids
As a mom I’m constantly on the hunt for new brands for Jackson. I feel incredibly lucky that we currently have so many organic and natural clothing lines for kids. When I was first introduced to Plutt (based in San Francisco) it was love at first site. It’s not only made out of stunning 100% eco baby alpaca but it’s in my neutral color palette.

Here in San Francisco we live in sweaters year round – especially this winter since we are somehow getting cooler temperatures then the East Coast. That being said, it’s essential to have some go-to lines that I know are going to keep our little guy warm. Be sure to pop over to Plutt to see the rest of their beautiful collection. It’s not to be missed and there is still time to shop before the holidays!

Gift Guide: For the Bookworm

In my family, there are always books involved in our gift giving for the holidays. There is nothing I love more than trying to find the right book for my friends and family. Sometimes I chose a book I’ve already read but other times I go through the shelves of my local bookstore, looking for the perfect book. I also love receiving books and diving head first into them after the frenzy of the season is over.

I’ve pulled together a few of my favorite books I’ll be giving this year. If you have any other suggestions, let me know! Happy book hunting.

Entertaining: A Touch of French Antiques

Last spring, I had the pleasure of meeting Laurie of Elsie Green House & Home when she was selling her beautiful French wares at the Remodelista market. I immediately felt at home with the items she collected from markets throughout France – stunning monogrammed napkins, restaurant silver, bed linens of natural linen, and incredible rustic cutting boards. We decided for the holidays to have a gathering using her treasures. Nothing says December like having a table with delicious homemade desserts and greenery from the forest. I took a small wreath and placed it on the candlestick for an easy centerpiece. Lately, I’ve been loving a moody table and this one takes me back to my childhood during the holidays.
